What would I do to make school a more interesting and enticing place?

My Teacher asked me to answer the Question shown above. Here is my response in writing. Click on the link above to hear my audio response

If I had to change this school, I would start with the plumbing, because it’s like dripping off the ceiling. Next, I would try to get a snack machine because, in the winter, students are too lazy to go out, and freeze their ass. Plus, it wouldn’t hurt if the girls bathroom would get a coat of paint. Last but not least, they should have more field trips.

My idea on what I would do to make the world a better place

My idea on what I would do to make the world a better place is I will try to stop world hunger. Many people are staving, and when we are full, we just throw away our leftovers, where people around the world would thank god for a bowl of rice. If I could do something to help, I would, but the problem is, I don't.

Another thing is that I am and will continue to recycle. If really helps the world, because if you recycle paper, we don’t have to cut down another tree. Instead of throwing a plastic bottle in the garbage, where it takes hundreds of years for it to decompose, we could just put it in a recycling bin, and reuse it. It really helps the earth, and we know that we did something good. If I could, I would stop war. We don’t need war, all its good for is nothing. It just kills people for a stupid cause. Life would be so peaceful if everyone just got along.

That brings me to another point, people discriminate too much. They would call an Arabic person a terrorist, but really terrorist are not even Arabic. The movie Crash explains it all. Schools, a lot of people’s children go to school, but in other countries, kids don’t have enough money to pay for it. Their parents are probably too poor or dead, and they have to work non-stop. When I get older, I would sponsor a kid, and pay for their schooling and food etc… I see the program for it every Sunday morning, I use to pissed me off seeing how it interrupts my shows, but I actually watched it, and it was so sad. If everybody sponsored one kid, kids in Africa won't be starving or not going to school.

My Possible career in the future. (According to Career Cruising)

One of the assignments we had to do in class was to answer a set of questions concerning possible career choices for the future. The program was called Career Cruising. After answering each set of questions we saw results based on our answers. The top 2 most likely careers appear at the very top.

They are as follows:

1. Medical Lab Tech

2. Pharmacy Tech

Dear Mr. Steinberger;

Well, if I had to open a business, I would probably open a nail salon, because I already know how to run one. My mom owned like two salons already, and I know where to buy the supplies and where to locate it. First, I would have to learn how to do nails better, like already  I know how to do real nails, but when you open a nail salon, you have to know how to everything on the price list.

I would probably locate my salon in Florida or somewhere hot, because I like the weather, and a lot of people in Florida do nails. I know because my cousin works in Florida, but they charge really low, because people do it a lot. Most of the time, people think that its females who only do nails, it's true, but a lot of men do it too. Not only gay men, but like Average Joes. They like to do it because it makes them feel proper and clean, or so I heard.

The people I would hire are most probably people who know how to do the nails, I can't have people who don't know what they’re doing running around my salon, I don’t want to lose customers…now do I? Any who, the people would have to show that they know something, because the more they know the better my business goes. It’s even better if they knew a lot, and can do nails fast, because the faster they do it, the more cash coming in. Of course if they do it fast, they would have to do it well as well. I’m not sure what I should call my salon, but it has to be something catchy.

I was born in Montreal, Quebec on May 26, 1990.

My mom immigrated to Montreal when she was 9 years old from Italy and my dad was born right here in Montreal. Both my parents are Italian(from Sicily). My Grand-Parents immigrated here from a small town in Sicily called Montelegro around the year 1970.
My maternal grand-father was in the war and he then married my grand-mother around 1955. My Grand parents on my mom's side then gave birth to my mom in 1956 who is the oldest in the family, and then gave birth to three more boys and a girl while my paternal grand-parents gave birth to two sons, one of which is my dad, who was born in 1961. My mom and her parents moved around Montreal allot and my dad lived in St-Laurence and then moved around with his parents and grand-mother. My parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, my mom came into the religion 35 years ago, while my dad came into it 28 years ago. In 1990 my parents then gave birth to me and moved obove my paternal grand-parents in a duplex in St-Leonard. I'am a only child.
I started school in 1995 at Nesbitt Grade School then graduated in 2002. Then I went to Rosemount High later in 2002 and I'm in my 4th year at this school, but unfoutunetly my maternal grand-father died earlier that year. These fifteen years I've met many great people who I like to hang with all year around I love to eat tasty Italian food from my grand-mothers and mother. In the future I plan on taking a trade in plumbing and succeding in this profession but for now I will try to do my best at school and have a fun time with my friends.

What is culture and why is it important to me?
My Teacher asked me to answer the Questions, what is culture and why is it important to me. Here is my response in writing.

Culture is a set of learned beliefs, values and behaviors in a shared member of a society. It is also the accumulated habits, attitudes and beliefs of a group of people that define their general behavior and way of life, or the total set of learned activities of people.
Culture is important because it affects the organization of learning, the rules at school and the activities. Culture also affects the education in school like the teaching and learning in the classrooms. Culture also has a strong impact on our work and life and this can lead to cultural groups that have a strong foundation for understanding other communities.
